Kairis Travertine Pendant Light
Natural stone
A cream travertine shade, hung on a cord.
The shade is natural travertine, cream and beige, with the pits and veins left in the stone. Warm light leaves through the open bottom. Choose a straight cylinder or a rounded drum, then hang one shade, or two or three on a walnut bar.
Shade, style, lights
Two shade sizes, two shapes, up to three lights.
Shade size changes the stone only. Style changes the silhouette. Lights changes the canopy: one light uses a round canopy, and two or three lights share a walnut bar.
Shade size11.8 in × 4.3 in / 30 × 11 cm, or 7.9 in × 2.8 in / 20 × 7 cm
StyleCylindrical, with straight sides, or Rounded, with a softer drum
Lights1 Light, 2 Lights with Walnut Bar, or 3 Lights with Walnut Bar
The fixture
Stone shade, open base, wood above.
Both shapes glow from the open bottom. One light hangs from a round canopy. Two and three lights hang from a dark walnut bar.
Straight sides and a flat top. The larger shade is 11.8 in wide and 4.3 in high. The smaller shade is 7.9 in wide and 2.8 in high.
A softer drum with the same open base. Shade sizes match the cylindrical option: 30 × 11 cm or 20 × 7 cm.
1 Light uses a round canopy and a cord. 2 Lights use a 23.6 in / 60 cm walnut bar. 3 Lights use a 39.4 in / 100 cm walnut bar.
In the room
Over a table, an island, or a counter.
Hang one shade over a small table. Use the walnut bar of two or three shades over a dining table or a kitchen island. The stone stays cream in daylight, and the open base throws a warm pool when the lamp is on.
Up close
Pitted stone and an open glowing base.
The surface keeps the natural holes and soft bands of the travertine. Light does not come through the stone wall. It leaves through the open bottom.
